國立臺灣藝術大學舞蹈學系－大觀舞集

國立臺灣藝術大學為全臺灣第一所結合傳播學院、美術學院、表演學院及設計學院的藝術大學，作為臺灣第一所藝術大學，本校自創校以來，即不斷推動社區、學校和企業的互動，企盼以學術研究的精神與成果，活絡地方文化藝術的發展。前身為「國立臺灣藝術專科學校舞蹈科」，為全台灣第一所公立的舞蹈教育機構，創立35年來，在歷屆主任李天民教授、劉鳳學教授…等舞蹈專家的精心規劃與帶領下，以培養專業舞蹈表演人才為宗旨，教授各項專業舞蹈的知識，例如中國傳統舞蹈、臺灣本土舞蹈、西方舞蹈及世界舞蹈等相關課程。此外，為加強舞蹈相關知識之認識與運用，本系特別開設中西舞蹈史、舞譜、動作分析、藝術行政、劇場實務等的相關理論課程，以培養學生多元化的舞蹈專業知識與精湛技能。, R$ M0 a" O% Y' F s% K5 O
近年來，本系招收來自舞蹈資優班或具舞蹈教育基礎的學子，除了在術科方面，教師以專長施予學生系列性的技術課程之外，本系亦著重舞蹈創作能力的啟發，於每年4至5月中舉辦「學生創作展演」系列活動，藉以激發學生思考的創意，發展自我的肢體語彙。本系於每學年所實施的年度公演、教師聯展以及學術研討會等活動，再再展現了教師們於課程教學、創作及學術研究的努力成果。本系年年受邀參加國內外單位演出，極力拓展國內外舞蹈文化交流機會。在校內活動以及歷屆畢業展演的呈現，屢見佳績。
) `8 r, B' Z: M) c& s除此之外，本系於2005年成立的《大觀舞集》，在前校長黃光男擔任團長、以及前副校長張浣芸擔任副團長於2005 ~ 2010期間，策劃許多精緻的舞蹈表演活動，藉由整合校內系所與藝術家，舉凡與多媒體運用、戲劇、音樂、美術等專業學門之結合，共同開創舞蹈藝術之新視野。《大觀舞集》將秉持一貫專業、精緻的演出風格，拓展海內外的舞蹈藝術的觀眾群，加強國際文化及事務上的交流，使舞團的演出跨越語言、文化、種族隔閡，融合東西文化精髓，引領臺灣舞蹈藝術風潮，達到國際職業舞團水準。 + _5 E! U3 w6 w

The Department of Dance was established in 1970 at the National Taiwan University of Arts (the former National Taiwan Academy of Arts). The dance program was hosted in the evening and the first recruited graduates from high schools and commercial high schools. In 1977, a five-year junior college day school program was established, and recruited junior high school graduates who are talented in dancing. However, the four-year college dance program did not start in National Taiwan College on Arts until 1997.

H: @7 }9 o; j) vDance students have been encouraged to participate in international dance performances such as Hungarian Dance Festivals, Nureyev Ballet Competition, British Oriental Dance Festival, Poland International Folk Dance Competition as well as the South Africa International Folk Dance Competition, which student’s efforts have yielded remarkable results. In 2002, our school became the first university in Asia to be invited to perform in The Kennedy Center in New York since National American College Dance Festival was established 20 years ago. In 2005, the Da-Guan Dance Theater was established under the Department of Dance in order to give alumni opportunities to present their hard work and efforts. We have welcomed both dance alumni to perform and present their choreographies with related artists, multimedia, drama and music specialties to collaborate in various dance performances.

For example, our department occasionally cooperates with the Lin Family Garden and the Taipei County Government in various community-oriented events. We also occasionally perform in schools and make an annual graduation tour performance around Taiwan.
